The purpose of this site is to become a clearinghouse for blocking Twitter spammers. The goal, as people report the uername of Twitter spammers, we can then block those names for you automatically.
This site is currently at version 0.1.2. It is rough around the edges, but as we get the mechanics worked out then we can start worrying about the appearance.
Password is only saved for autoblock function. We can't block if we don't know your password.
The Autoblock feature will automatically block any SPAMBOTs that are entered here by a TRUSTED user. In other words, if Joe Idiot decides he wants to submit his buddys name as a spambot, we will not automatically block on that name since we don't TRUST Joe Idiot, for obvious reasons. However, this site is still being tested, so we cannot guarantee that it won't happen.
Now you can block SPAMBOT's using a tweet. Just send a tweet to @StopTwitSpam with the word SPAMBOT followed by the SPAMBOT name, i.e. "@StopTwitSpam SPAMBOT humdaddio"
Keep up with new SPAMBOT's and the general progress of our anti-spam efforts by following us on Twitter: @StopTwitSpam
